This notice describes how ACKER handles information associated with visits to ACKERMedical.com and direct inquiries about our work. The website is an informational landing page intended primarily for clinicians, researchers, and potential collaborators. It does not currently offer accounts, web forms, or online purchases.

Information involved

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include, such as your name, organization, and message. When you visit the website, hosting and network providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested, and request timestamps to deliver and secure the site.

How we use information

We use inquiries to respond, consider potential clinical needs or collaborations, and maintain relevant business records. Technical information may be used to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the website. We do not use the website to sell visitors' personal information.

Services and links

Our site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Fonts are loaded through Google Fonts and jsDelivr, which may receive technical information when your browser requests those resources. To limit automated email harvesting, we use Cloudflare Turnstile before revealing our contact email address; the verification may process browser and network signals. If you follow our LinkedIn link, you leave this website and LinkedIn's privacy practices apply. Email is handled by the email services used by you and ACKER.

Retention and security

We keep correspondence and related information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above or applicable legal obligations. We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no online service or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children and sensitive information

Although our mission concerns children's healthcare, this website is not directed to children. Please do not email patient-identifiable health information or confidential, unpublished invention details without first arranging an appropriate, secure process.

Questions or requests

To ask about information you have provided, or request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, use the email reveal control in the footer to contact ACKER. We may update this notice as the website and our practices change; the date above will reflect the latest revision.
